When I open Norton and choose option to scan I have listed in the Norton window as follows first line- scan my computer, second line- scan my computer, third line- scan all removable drives, fourth line- scan all removeble drives, fifth line- scan all floppy disks, sixth line- scan all floppy disk, seventh line-scan drives, eighth line- scan drives, ninth line-scan folders, tenth line-scan folders, eleventh line-scan files, line 12-scan files, line 13 brasil. From what I have researched I thought that brasil was related to the w32opaserv virus however I downloaded and ran the fix for w32opaserv from norton and it said it did not detect it on my computer. Also I have ran trend micro housecall and it has found my machine to be clean. I also use ad-aware. I also managed to get Norton to open in two seperate windows and scaned my computer in both at the same time and found nothing. Basically I am not experiencing any other problems with the machine although it has some years on it and I am only running 56 mb ram. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

[edit] As there has been no response from the original poster, this topic is now closed. If you have any other problems, please post a new topic.
