I'm beginning to think that this graphic card is old. Most computers run games smoothly with older processors like intel pentium 3 while I have a pentium 4 and I run my games slowly and my character moves chunk by chunk. Isn't there a better graphic card driver for my graphic card?

Check SiS.com for the latest driver, if you already have the latest one, re-install it

If this does not change things then you would need to look at upgrading the card, in 99% of cases you can only use drivers from the manufacturer, there are cases where third party drivers are supplied for cards from ATI and NviDia but it is unlikely any are produced for SiS cards

Items in blue which are underlined are clickable to give more information about the process

Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit then select all, right click any file then click delete, confirm delete

Click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc clean up, then from system tools, run disc defragmenter.

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter, you need the XP CD and Windows File Protection will show a blue onscreen progress bar, when the bar goes, reboot

Download and install Tune Up 2006 Trial

Run Tune Up Disc Clean Up

Run Tune Up Registry Clean Up

Click Optimize and Improve to run Reg Defrag, which will take a few minutes and need a reboot. You should disable the antivirus programme to run this and check it is running after the reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to optimize the computer, select computer with an internet connection from the drop down menu, this also requires a reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to accelerate downloads, select the speed just above your actual connection speed, this requires a reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to run system advisor

Where is the System advisor? I can't find it. I don't think I set the internet connection speed right. I put Local area connection(10Mbits or higher). Is SBC Yahoo! DSL supposed to be 1.5Mbits? It says it's 1.5mbps

When you click optimize, it has a lightbulb, you could have gone for 2MB but no worries

If you have 512MB Memory then the card is 32MB which won't give stunning results with games

The best way forward is installing a graphics card, you should ask in the games forum if there are particular games you want to run

My brother's computer has 480 MB of RAM too. His games run how its supposed to be and he has 2.66GHz I don't think thats a difference because someone has a Pentium® 3 processor and his games run fine.
