Looking for Kazaa Alternative

I uninstalled all the spyware and adware on my comp, but that means kazaa will no longer function. I am looking for an alternative to kazaa, or a way to use kazaa without all the adware and crap slowing down my comp. i want to use all the files in My Shared Folder still though, so that is an important port to any alternative. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I definately want a free alternative though, that's the most important aspect. Thanks.
