Hey how's it going?

Um i think this is a dumb question, but i'd appreciate it a lot if you guys can help.

I have Windows XP, and in "My Music" folder, i want to rearrange my songs according to "date of modification" or Modified or whatever. But unfortunately, the menu has different options rather than the rest, like "Artist", "Album title", etc. obviously because they're songs. Do you know how i can bring "Modified" back to the list?

Thanks in advance.

I just tried moving music files to different folders but the options remain the same

Does adding a date to the title help, then show in groups

Hi sososick...

Open the "My Music" folder and click on "View" on the toolbar. Click on "Choose Details" in the menu and tick the box next to "Date Modified"...click "Ok". Close the folder. Reopen the folder and right click, point to "Arrange icons by"...is modified now a choice in the list?
