ATX in Micro-ATX

Hi everybody,

I have a friend who who has a Micro-ATX motherboard that he wants to replace with an ATX
Motherboard. Does anybody know if the ATX motherboard can fit inside the same Micro-ATX case ?We're both new to this system of different sizes used in motherboards and stuff.Any help would be apreciated. :whistling:

An ATX motherboard is larger than a micro ATX motherboard and if you have a microATX case then you usually cant place an ATX board in there for the rather obvious reason that it wont fit. Some manufacturers will put micro ATX boards in ATX cases so if you have a microATX board and there is still plenty room in there you should check if the case is indeed a micro atx.
