This is a PII with 90 MB RAM that belongs to a friend of mine who is totally clueless when it comes to P.C.s. Naturally, he loves the internet and of course he is contracting all sorts of diseases.
On boot, a "cannot find wnim.dll" is displayed. Outlook Express would open to the Explore pane but any attempt to view e-mail was met with a request for password (?!) and then, having cancelled through that an "Address failed to load. Please reinstal" or "error opening message"

I got around this "a bit" by seting up another identity and exporting/importing data and settings. It allows some functionality, but it is still asking for passwords.

I have run the latest profiles of AVG. I have run DLECWSSK - none of the recent viruses detected. Ran the latest version of CWShredder and it found and fixed one instance. I've run the latest version of HJT and here is the log. I think it looks pretty ugly:
