When closing down PC a window appears with a box headed by "Ryan-Mufasa" I click end now, then another box with "OEMWLANCFG" appears.

This is something to do with TP-Link wireless USB plug in - as when I remove the software that came with the adapter this stops the boxes appearing.

The trouble is without the software the wireless connection doesn't work.

Anyone any ideas please?

Hi Malcom,

I assume that you have downloaded the latest drivers for this device? This is windows way of telling you that although it sent a shutdown command to the software controlling the device, it has not responded in the time windows thinks it should have.

Often, this is a driver issue or software issue

This "OEMWLANCFG" looks like a lan configuration utility---do you need that to be running all the time? If not, try disabling it and seeing if the issue stops.
