USB DRIVE (SD CARD) NOT BEING READ BY WINDOWS

MY DELL DEMENSION 4600 XP HOME IS NOT RECOGNIZING MY SD CARDS (STORAGE) IN EXPLORER ,MY DEVICE MANAGER IS RECOGNIZING THEM AS A MASS STORAGE DEVICE BUT THEY DONOT SHOW ON THE EXPLORER SIDE AS EITHER A LETTERED DRIVE OR FOLDER,, I CAN IT IS NOT THE CARDS THAT ARE FAULTY THEY WORK ELSE WHERE, I HAVE EVEN GONE SO FAR AS TO DO A SECOND "r" REPAIR INSTALATION OF MY O.S.AS FAR AS I CAN TELL I AM SET UP TO BOOT FROM USB DEVICES,,BUT I COULD BE WRONG ,, PLEASE HELP :blink:
