Hello there,

I recently got the MVPS host file from this site:
http://www.mvps.org/...p2002/hosts.htm

Afterward my MSN messenger would no longer function. Is this possibly because one of the entries on this host file blocks it? If so how do I fix it? Do I just get a new host file or can I delete the particular entry to solve this issue?

I'm pretty new at messing around with this sort of thing so if anyone can help me with this problem I would sure appreciate it.

I need the MSN messenger because a gaming group I belong to uses it, otherwise I would just get rid of it.

Thanx in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide. :whistling:

the mvps host file has a method of undoing it's changes (i'm sorry but i don't remember that method off hand...but i know it's in the readme)...see if undoing the hosts change will allow your messenger to work again
