hello and welcome to geekstogo,
this is possible with
A) with internet explorer, how it works with internet explorer is that the moment you double click on internet explorer it connects you automatically, however i don't believe this is what you are looking for.
B) a router, you best option is probably a router however i don't really have any knowledge on how to set this up, you'll need to pay $ for it and every touer is different.
could be wrong but i believe these are your only options, if you want to follow through with the internet explorer option i can help you.
Hope you find this information useful
thanx

Hah, most people post asking how to stop their computer doing this :whistling:

Is this on broadband or dial-up? If its broadband, just turn off the options that tell Windows to ask you for a username, password and phone number and it'll go straight on when you want to.

No, it's for dial up.

Why do you want the computer to dial-up instantly on log-in? Surely its far more useful to wait until you actually want to go online, and probably a lot cheaper to boot. Plus it keeps your phone line free.
