how about some more info:
are there 3 new devices?(slave, cd rom, floppy)
do any of these new devices work?
does the system boot?
has the system ever booted successfully since the new parts were installed?
is the slave drive using the same wide cable as the master drive?

some basics to check:
make sure the slave drive has the jumper on the slave pins
check the wide cable on the master, slave, and cd rom - the red stripe on the wide cable is usually adjacent to the red wire on the power connector(if the wide cable is connected backwards the devices on that cable will fail)

if the cables and jumper look ok, then you might disconnect all of the new devices and see if the original configuration still works. then reconnect one device at a time and attempt to boot.
