I would like to know if I can assign a shortcut key to any text I want.

example: CTRL + A would be: readers digest.

Thanks for helping.

Patience young one :whistling:

I am like 80% sure you can't do this. Just not able to. If no one answers in like 3 days, move it to the forum for forgotten posts, then you'll get help!

I'm not quite sure I follow you helene1.

Are you saying that when you press CTRL + A, the computer will automatically type "Readers digest"?

If so, that is impossible to do...

Actually it is possible to do if you have the correct hardware or have the know how to write a good macro. For example i can on my mouse have one button tasked with the key combo to open up chat and type "i pwn all you noobs" which i can do with the razer driver or i can put a macro on one of the keys on my zboard to do it or have certain keys go to certain webistes(this is easier than getting it to type stuff) .

It is possible buts its difficult if your hardware or application you use doesnt have good macro support.

It's also hard if you don't understand how to make macros

I know I make macros in CS:S and World of Warcraft but that's the extent of my macro knowledge :whistling:
