Cannot make DVDs-Sonic MyDVD Plus missing MyDVD.MSI

:) :) I too was getting the popup "missing mydvd.msi". I uninstalled and reinstalled per redcap66 and bigdoug and now the problem is gone. Thank you boys, (or girls).

Please Help i'm having the same problem, i've been tryin redcap66 , and bigdoug's solutions, but when i go to uninstall sonic i get the follwing:

Sonic MyDVD Plus:
A network erro occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\WINDOWS\Installer\MyDVD.MSI

i've even try to the solution mentioned in above posts like i said, from a fresh restart of my computer right off the bat but i still get the same message

I have had the exact same problem with my HP computer also. That Sonic DVD player must be a real plague to users.

I would like to completely remove all Sonic programs and try to do the PC help and tools thing too in HP recovery. But am a little afraid it won't work. I suppose if I remove all Sonic programs, and the PC tools does not work, I will have to do a standard recovery?

Or would you have to do a full recovery option? Bundled software is a real pain, IMO... :)
