When i tried to install office and service pack, about 30 50% into the installation an error message has popped up adving me that the key code is corrupt?????

I am pulling hair our of my head. Can anyone help me please.????

Hi Keith,

Thanks for your assistance.

I have 1 more problem. The computer Windows XP pops up with a box which shuts down the system. The box says something like,

C:\windows\system32\Isass.exe terminated due to unexpected service code 1073741819.

When i first got my old computer i had this problem also. Norton fixed it. I have tried to install Norton on my new computer but says that the trial period is over.

I am currently running AVG antivirus.

Can you suggest what i can do to stop my computer from resetting??

Thanks

Peter.

lsass is one of the files which can be legit or not so

Please go here:

Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, ask for advice in the Malware Forum
