Whenever I try to play a piece of media on the internet, predominantly movie clips, most of the media player plug-ins (usually Windows Media but has been others too) crash my computer, bringing up the blue screen immediatley, before I have the chance to see the movie clip. This is a problem with all of my browsers (IE and Firefox) and below I have taken a picture of what the blue screen says for further help in solving the problem:

Thanks!

I'm going to move this to Hardware so that your topic gets the tech experts' opinions. Please post how much memory you have, and what kind of video card you use. It would help them to know if there is any recently installed hardware or software, too.

Hi, sorry about that.

My most recently installed hardware was a printer which I had a few problems with, but were solved on this site. My Computer, which is a Dell Dimension 8300, has a memory of 512MB RAM and my Graphics Card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200.

Thanks!

Hi, I know I shouldn't be bumping this topic - but it's been a while and I'm not getting any replies so I'd rather bump instead of starting a new one entirely. Thanks! :whistling:
