No Sound after SP 2 installation..

I installed SP2 in my son's computer but now, i got no sound. I tried to reinstall drivers from motherboard but didnt work. I have check in Device manager; no conflicts. But its kinda funny that the audio icon is not on my taskbar anymore and that when i click on properties, i can see my soundcard there(Sound blaster Audigy) but properties are gray out.

Should i just uninstall SP2 and reinstall it or a reformat will work best?
