I recently went to go and clean up my start up by stopping uneeded programs at startup (messenger and such) and noticed that in my startup there were several selections that were not names but squares. The locations were all the same and there are four of them. The location
is "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Windows:Load" and substitute :Run instead of load for the second two. There were two of each command totalling four. I disabled them and rebooted and was greeted with four error messages saying that the square program couldn't be loaded. Anybody that has any idea what this may be or how to get rid of it please let me know.

hi fro welcome... to get a better look @ your startup please do the following... this will require spybot S&D i assume you have it for regular spyware scanning but if you dont can DL it here.. now when you open the main screen of spybot..click on mode on top bar of the window then select advanced mode so you can view tools option-->click on tools (its in lower left corner)-->then click system startup (above uninstall info/below system internal)-->click export and here it will export the list of startup programs just simply save the log to a convienant location such as your desktop or my docs then please copy&paste the txt results of that log in your next reply :whistling:
