I am having difficulties gettting Java to work on my laptop. I have a Dell Latitude CPx laptop running Windows XP. I installed Java Runtime Environment so I know it is there. When i try to play a game or chat, I get an error message that reads: "Your security settings do not allow Web sites to use ActiveX controls on your computer." Is Java for the desktop different from Java on the laptop?
