Opening Office Programs is slow and annoying.

Hi,

Whenever I open any programs in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc) It takes absolutely ages. After taking about a decade to start, I get a warning window saying that Norton Antivirus does not suppport the repair function and to please uninstall and reinstall. I can't do this as it would mean wiping my hard drive as my AV software came bundled with my laptop's basic software package.

If anyone could help, please do! It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's mighty annoying.
