Welcome Mickey <_<

Do you know what size your monitor is?

Recommended size for 15" is 800x600, 17" 1024x768, 21" 1280x1024. You should use the most colors availalble (the highest number of bits).

Also, be sure to check your refresh rate. Right click on an area if your desktop with no icons. A pop-up menu will appear. Select properties. Select the "setting" tab and the "advanced" button. Select the monitor tab. Under "monitor settings" select a "Screen refresh rate". Usually, you want to select the highest available choice (at least 75hz). If your screen appears distorted, try another selection.
