CPU fails boot test

When I turn the pc on I get a message that states CPU failed test it's a ecollage machine with a asua P4P800-E mother board with a pentium 4. Doses this mean that the CPU is bad and has to be replaced. Iwill aprecitate any help you can give me.

Check the processor for bent pins. I know it means disassembly but its necessary. After that start by disconnecting everything except MB, processor, one stick of memory and a video card and see if you can get to the bios. If you get the same message its probably the processor. Also make sure all power connections are tight, especially the 4 pin processor connection.
