Internet problem

Hello. Hopefully someone on here is smart enough to help me with my problem. I have called Dell, my isp, and even microsoft and none of them are any help. I cannot connect to the internet in any way at all. Not there a modem connection or some type of network connection. With dial up it connects and starts all over again. With like an ethernet or dsl connection it has limitied or no activity. I have tried disabiling all firewalls and virus scans. Everything is uptodate on my laptop. someone please help.

Not getting on the dailup may be a worm if I could recall the names of them I would try running this program and see what it finds.
Stinger post back with if it found anything or not then we can work from there.
