I can't tell if it has a web browser. For some reason I can't find my printer anywhere in the website. And I couldn't figure out how to do what the instructions said.

We'll the printer is called the Lexmark All-In-One 3100 series, so I just assumed that it would be an all in one printer. The pritner that shows up isn't the same one I have even though the name is practically the same.

My printer doens't have any type of screen on it so I can't do with the instructions say.

Not ideal, but if you can stand batting documents from one PC to the one with the printer, so at least you can do that, I would ask Lexmark because it must be possible and it must be easy for them to show the way

Odd thing, I have a dell all in one, which in most cases are rebadged lexmark, and XP installed the drivers for it to run on the network

don't know if this will make a diff here or not...but i have an OCE plotter here at work that i have to install twice on every machine...first i have to log on as the administrator and install it which installs the drivers and what nots...then i have to change the user that i want to be able to use the thing to a member of the local admin group...then i have to install it again as that user..then change their membership back....if i just try to change the user to administrator and install..i get the same "server has the wrong drivers" malarky...but the drivers are fine....if you can log on to the machine as THE administrator try to install the printer there...then try it again as the user

Let us know what lexmark say, an official solution will be best, but if they cannot do anything, we can look for others with the same problem

They should sort it because the site mentions printers which cannot be networked and yours is not among them
