Homeplug Adapter

I bought MSi's Homeplug adapter (EC14H) which allows home networking with no wires via the electrical system of the house. I have done all the installation correctly to the best of my knowledge. Both computers (both with XP Pro) seem to recognized the hardware & software but don't communicate. If there's anyone who has ever used a homeplug, maybe you can help me figure out if i've missed a step or <_<
