My computer has been acting sluggish, freezing up and so I've run my Ad-aware, and daily my Anti-Virus. It did remove some malware and shows that I have winhound, that it couldn't get rid of. So I thought I should check my firewall and found that it was disabled. (not sure why) However the settings are not highlighted (so I can't change them) At the top of the screen it says that "for your security, some settings are controlled by group policy." How do I get this changed? Thanks! any help for the winhound problem would be great too!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
