Hard drive only showing 2 gig

I added a hard drive on to my existing desktop computer. I put both of the devices on cable select with the jumpers but the drive i just added is only showing like 2 gigs. What is the problem? Thanks ahead for the help.

Did you partition the disk?

To partition and/check the partition:

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management. In there go
to Disk Management.

Ok thanks. I will try that when I get home. I dont think I did. I will pose again when I go do that.
