I have been updating windows on a new toshiba satalite laptop and im having trouble installing a Security Update for Flash Player (KB913433)

This info window is what windows gives me for troubleshooting:

"Error Code: 0x643
Try to install the update again, or request help from one of the following resources.

For self-help options:

Frequently Asked Questions
Find Solutions
Windows Update Newsgroup

For assisted support options:


Microsoft Online Assisted Support (no-cost for issues related to getting updates) "

So far this hasen't been any help. Some Help would be much appreciated. :whistling:

This update will only install if you've never updated the version of Flash on your computer that comes with Internet Explorer 6.

If you read this:

It says that the issue only affects users who are still running Flash Player 6, and that Flash Players 7 and 8 are not affected, but its recommended to update it.

If the update in question doesn't install, you're running a newer version of Flash Player than what came with IE6. You can see which version of Flash you have here:
http://www.adobe.com...ts/flash/about/ - latest version is 8.0.24.0.
