The way i fix laptops i buy at auctions is to go to Ebay and buy a laptop of the same model that has problems. I usually only pay $25-50 for the broken laptop and can take whatever parts i need. I then resell the laptop for "parts only" generally for close to the same price i pay for it. I replace a lot of tft screens this way. Other than having to register as a seller on Ebay, and paying for shipping and having to package and mail the laptop out, its a lot easier and cheaper than looking for parts.

If you go to this website and scroll down almost to the bottom they have the brackets for sale for $35-40. The hinge saddle sells there for $65.
