The Page Down key on my barely year old Gateway laptop randomly came off (no bumping, dropping, whatever). According to Gateway the only way to get it back on is to just order another keyboard. That's ridiculous. I'm wondering if there's another way to put it back on since I have all the parts to the key and nothing appears broken.

Hi there

I'm not that familiar with Gateway laptops but with most laptops, keys can easily be popped off & on again. Some laptop keys have a metal bar in them which acts as a retaining clip. If yours has one of these, then make sure the bar is correctly clipped inside the key first before refitting the key. After that, you should be able to simply clip the key back in place.
