Hey There,

I'm new to this forum thing, but I hope you guys out there can help me.

I think I have the "About:Blank" infection. When I run HJT, I can see this bug in the list. When I try to remove it, it just comes right back.

I have found a post by Efwis, which calls out the downloading of "About:Buster", "CleanUp!" and "CWShredder".

Unfortunately, when I try to unzip them from my desktop, the machine just hangs for a little while and then gives the "Dr Watson Error" message. It appears as if the virus is preventing me from launching the .zip utility on these programs.

Can anybody out there help me?

I had the same problem. You should try downloading this program called Adware Away. Here is the link:

I suggest you read the instructions on the site first then
Just click where it says "Get Now" at the top of the page to download.
