That makes sense to me. Just hope that I can get it to shut down now. It's probably the power supply. Will try that next.

I doubt it's the power supply that is causing the computer to restart and not shut down. If it was the power supply, you would be finding symptoms in other areas and since you haven't posted any of these, I would think it is something else. Please feel free to start another topic so that problem can be looked at closer.
