lost my paper!

i was typing my Biology paper when the something lost connection and it turned off. I went to auto recovery to get my paper because I didn't save it at all, and I found it but when I click on it it just says that the file has a read lock and that i should try to look for a text recovery converter. please help me! :whistling:

If you open Word rather than the document does it have a panel on the left which shows two documents with the option to save?
