I recently noticed my CD Drive is not showing up in Explorer or My Computer. The device manager says the driver is loaded but it can't find the device. Any help would be appreciated!

Ok try go back to device manager and then right click on the drive that is missing, Click on "Uninstall". Restart the computer.

Go back to device manager, right click on "DVD/CD-ROM drives", click "Scan for hardware changes", a wizard may come up and then follow the prompts. Then restart (Prompts may not come up) Then let me know if it worked.
