hi therock247uk! thanks for replying. i forgot to post that when i connect to the internet and open IE, my computer starts downloading something....i forgot what it was and another thing that it does is that it opens a new window on its own with the address

http://540.filost.co...tes/banner.aspx

One more thing, i'm currently using a dial-up connection. you know when you try to connect to the net, a window pops up with the username, password, and number of the ISP right? recently, what happens with mine is that the username, password and number automatically changes....last night the connection was even deleted so i had to create a new one.... can you help me with this? is this related to the problem i have in my log? thanks in advance for hearing me out. :tazz:
