went ot compaq online support and did the steps told by them, did not help. they said my bios may be corrupt. and that i need to take it to be checked out . hope it is not an expensive thing to be done. have no idea what actualy will be done.

I woudl think that the bios flash would take care of it if it was corrupt....I suspect they mean the cmos chip needs to be pulled.

This thing still under warranty?

These are all the dif. errors in my log does this shine any light on the problem?
