Hello!

I have a problem. Every time i try to open a divx avi Dr.Watsons postmortem stops responding and explorer is freezing.

I uninstalled dixv and the problem has vanished, but i need a divx deconder and encoder.

Can sombady tell me what divx shoud i use, or why this is happening!

Thanks

Hi,

Do you have XP SP2 installed? If so this could be a case of some Malware spyware in the Divx installer giving you the now, infamous Dr Watson errors? If so you could try uninstalling SP2, installing Divx then running any spyware s/ware you have and HJT and then once clean reinstalling SP2, or you could just try Xvid.
