Pixal problems with web applications

Recently, Pictures on the web have distorted into squares that are slightly off register and off color. Colors not in the original photo appeared and over lapped the object as well as appearing in the background. I first noticed it in my pictures on eBay, then other photos on eBay, and when I checked other web sites, all the pictures were distorted in the same manner. Script was unaffected. I use Safari as a browser, but the same distortion appeared using Internet Explorer. Photos in my computer file are perfect - not affected. When I had my son check my eBay photos on his computer, he said they were fine !!

My computer is an iMac OSX [10.3.9] and my web access is through isp.com.

Hopefully, you can see the problem in the attachment.

Any ideas why I suddenly am getting cubist mosaics instead of sharp photos ??
