I have 2 hard drives with a dual boot system. 98SE is loaded on C drive and XP Pro on the D drive. There are files on the root of the C drive which, I understand, are important to dual boot - boot.ini, bootsect.dos, NTDETECT.COM, and ntldr.

My question is: can I do a repair installation of XP without removing the dual boot capabilities?
