Hi guys, every time i try to login on msn messenger it says that there was an error caused by application module msvcrt.dll and quits,iīve tried everything including scannow sfc,a actualization install,i tried to copy a new file using the recovery console and a new install of msn messenger,i donīt know what i else i can do since that as far as i can see the only two programs failing with this error are windows messenger and msn messenger.

download the vidsual basic 6.0 runtime libraries, sp5

http://www.microsoft...&DisplayLang=en

install, reboot, try again

It sounds like you may have installed a program that overwrote the correct DLL with an older one
