Yahoo Messenger .. Encountered a Problem

[FONT=Arial]I'm new to this and I have been having problems with my yahoo messenger and I hope you all or someone can help me out.. I have TRIED and TRIED to fix it myself but reading your forums and so far I have no ideal what I am doing wrong. Here is the Problem... I have UnInstalled and Reinstalled Yahoo Messenger.. like 300+ times.. in the past 3 daysssssss... every time I'm done installing it.. I sign in and I get as far as the bouncing face and it says... Yahoo! Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. blah blah... Well After I close it DrWatson Postmortem Debugger pops up and says somthing about Dos.. well I Don't have that problem anymore with DrWatson since I scanned with AVG and found a trojan and now that is gone.. thank Goodness! I did the spy bot and I have ad aware and I have avg and there all up to date. I don't have the DrWatson Debugger issuse but I still have the Yahoo Messenger Issues. I really would love to be able to use my Yahoo Messenger since it's my contact to my Aunt who is in the Phillipines. If Anyone can please help me out I would very much appreciate it. I have tried every thing. I even have a program called Ace Utilities which is free for now and it helped clean up old junk and so on.. So I have pretty much done everything that I can even to try to reload windows xp which I believe is my last resort which I tried and it says I have a newer version on my computer and I have no clue how to delete windows xp and just re install it again with out having to go back to any other windows version.. So as you can all tell I have alot to say cause I have spent my days after I get off work to try to fix this problem and so I decided to go on here to see if any of you have a suggestion to help me out? Thanks again to all who have taken the time to read this.

hmmm well.. I no I said that drwatson postmortem debugging doesn't appear anymore but it did... I'm going crazy..

I don't know what to do.. I am just updating this issue of mine cause I have no one else to ask.. and u all seem to know what is going on in the crazy pc world out there with bugs and viruses and such.. Please help me.. I decided in hoping that in a miracle the my yahoo messenger would work but it didn't and that drwatson debugging thing is back.. :mad: grrr.. oh well.. I guess I will have to figure out how to Remove windows xp home edition and then reinstall it since I tried to reintalls it with out removing the old stuff.. can anyone help out with any of my problems???????? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Okay.. I was Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion? I am just so confused.. I finally removed anything and everything that has yahoo in my computer.. I did a search on my computer and deleted all that has the word yahoo in them contacted yahoo themselves and they pretty much are no help told me to do things that I already did and then repeated themselves .. I got frustrated with them.. If anyone at all have any clue on what is going on please I would greatly appreciate all the help you can provide.. If you don't I will try and find some where else and I will not bother you all again. Thank you..

OH.. And sorry for all the questions and such.. I did forget to mention that I scanned with avg free edition and found another trojan horse called.. Dropper.Surfside.A... and it's quarentined since there is no healing for it. I don't know if that helps any.. I know how busy you all are and I'm sorry if I'm impatient:blush: .. I just seen alot of replies on the new ones close to mine and I haven't gotten any from mine also. So please forgive me.I'm just frustrated at the drwatson and messenger issues I'm having. Thanks again.

Well.. I guess no one knows what to do with my problems on my computer.. So how do I delete this message and leave this forum. It's just a waste so I gave up on yahoo messenger and that drwatson crap.

I read what you stated in Comments, and feel for ya and all your worry...

I'm in the same boat hun... I know I have a few on my HJT log, and still waiting. Within 24 hours my post went from pg.1 to pg.4

But anywho... Just keep BUMP'N :tazz:

To use: right-click and select: Install (no need to restart)
Note: This will remove all entries in the "Trusted Zone" and "Ranges" also.

Please resubmit a new log when finished

Okay.. well here is the new log file from HJT.. I think..lol.. but I did that install thing which looked like a paper thing when I just opened it after I installed it.. nothing happened but did as you said.. so then I did another HJT log.. and it's pasted below..hope I did it all correct..

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Sorry I haven't responded in a while.. I have been busy going in for a training class for my job.. I'm a Care Giver so it has taken alot of my time away from my family so please forgive me. I did the fix check on the items except for the one with tool ball aim cause I didn't see it the closest one I seen was also a no name and it had the same numbers after that also but decided not to check cause it didn't have the aim thingy on it so what next? how does the log file look now? hope it helps will try to download the yahoo messenger now and see if it works and that drwatson postmortem debugging doesn't show up since it only shows up after I download yahoo messenger and try to sign it after the fact.
