Hi i would first to thank u about this forum i found today by google.

My problem happened yesterday when i downloaded New Realtek Network drivers and Ati Catalyst 6.5

First i tried to update the network drivers i got this

Then i tried Catalyst drivers i got the same error

For reference, my windows is 6 months old, i updated these drivers more than once with no problems at all.
I replaced the Realtek PCI Slot and not worked also, removed all card except the vga not worked too.

Searched google i found it maybe have something with IRQs no more.
thanks...

What do you get if you run the set up files directly, instead of using add new hardware wizard

Download and save the new drivers

http://www.filehippo...d_ati_catalyst/

From the ATI site, Radeon XP downloads page, get cat uninstaller,

run it then run the new driver set up

Have you got .net framework 1.1

To check the system files etc

Items in blue which are underlined are clickable to give more information about the process

Click start then run, type prefetch then press enter, click edit then select all, right click any file then click delete, confirm delete

Click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc clean up, then from system tools, run disc defragmenter.

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter, you need the XP CD and Windows File Protection will show a blue onscreen progress bar, when the bar goes, reboot

Download and install Tune Up 2006 Trial

Run Tune Up Disc Clean Up

Run Tune Up Registry Clean Up

Click Optimize and Improve to run Reg Defrag, which will take a few minutes and need a reboot. You should disable the antivirus programme to run this and check it is running after the reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to optimize the computer, select computer with an internet connection from the drop down menu, this also requires a reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to accelerate downloads, select the speed just above your actual connection speed, this requires a reboot

After the reboot, click optimize then system optimizer to run system advisor

How to create a problem report in Windows

The following article describes ways of creating a problem report for ATI Customer Care.
A problem report provides ATI with a snapshot of your system configuration which assists in troubleshooting any technical issues that you may be experiencing.

To create a problem report:

Download and install the ATI Adapter Utilities. You will find installation instructions on this page.

Once the utilities are installed, browse to this default install directory C:\ATI\SUPPORT\ATI_UTILITIES and run the program listed as “atiiprxx.exe”. Follow the prompts on the screen until finished at which time the problem report will be saved in a text file.

Once the report is created please include it with your ticket submission to Customer Care.
