Could some one please look over my hijackthis log and see if they can spot any problems, Im sure there are a few. I've gotten rid of so much crap and now I'm stuck. I've tried nearly every program possible including the following...

Adaware
spybot
spywareguard
Microsoft anti spyware beta
etrust ez armor
Cwshredder
aboutbuster
norton antivirus
spywareblater

I've followed how-tos to remove backdoor services and removed a few. Like an idoit I never set my administrator password and now Im dealing with the consequences. Any help would be greatly apprecieated. bqyubs.exe is being installed by something. Ive deleted it and even tried to fix it with highjack this and it always comes back. Not to mention everytime I run one of the above ithey find at least three things usually vxd.maxdll included. Thanks again. I really am indebted to anyone who can help.

Welcome to Geeks to Go, shadyghost!

The first thing we need you to do is post the full HiJackThis log. You need to copy everything in the hijackthis.log file and paste it here. The log you posted is missing the information about the platform, browser, etc. as well as the running processes.

Once your new log is posted, someone will be by ASAP to help you clean out your system.

Ok well thankyou I hope I can figure this out with some friendly help.

Ok well after many hours of frustration hijackthis still picks up everything I worked hard to delete and fix. After the third try in safe mode following another forums steps here is my new highjackthis log. Also please note that on the second attempt I went in with Reglite and deleted any and all registry entries and values that were associated with the files but this did not work either. Note that now the files are not present on my computer (at least the search function is not picking them up and the folders they were in do not contain them) I have enabled all hidden file and folder options. Any ideas, also thanks for your quick response Iv'e learned a lot already.

This is interesting, I installed winpatrol and right away noticed that bqyubs.exe,wupdt.exe,w?aclt.exe,nbas.exe and uers.exe are all listed in the startup. If I try to remove them they are immeadiately replaced by another entry often without winpatrol even giving me a warning. There is another suspicious title that is listed as _18BE6784.EXE and is located here C:\WINDOWS\INSTALLER\{8CC15633-2327-43F4-BA85-B83FDB4B59BE}\_18BE6784.EXE
Could this be a virus? Im doing a google search right now but I have to go to work so I will hopefully have a response when I return. Thanks again.

Welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz:

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Ok well after many many hours of repeating steps from very helpful people like yourself I finally figured out what my issue was. I literally have rebooted windows over twenty times in safe mode and scanned it with every possible scanning device known to man. I had adwatch enabled and it was blocking the registry changes (very very quietly I might add) so even though the files were not there they were showing like they were running. How annoying. Wow. Hopefully this will help someone else out who has some kind of registry protection enabled. Anyway I would love for someone to rescan my highjack log and tell me if everything is ok. I cannot express how thankful I am for people who help others out with this stuff. It can really be pretty daunting when you know little about the subject. Thankyou so much for your time and care. It shows really cool character oh and a shared hatred for those that create this spyware crap in the first place.
