Firewall Problem

I have a firewall from microsoft with my Windows XP pro. However, if I am on a file sharing program such as Bearshare, the firewall stops my downloads. (I use this to get videos to my friends because AOL limits the files to 16 megs ). How can I remove the firewall? AOL has one, and I can disable this. but the one with windows (although it says disabled) still interferes...Thanks for any advice.

Helping anyone with problems with, or relating to, the usage of peer-to-peer programs is against the ToS of Geekstogo, and therefore I cannot help you with your current problem. I hope you understand.
