my pc is 2.2 Ghz pentum 4 , 700 mb of ram , windows xp home edition . [ The 32 bit windows ]

[Im using the Coreavc codec .]

Im trying to play High definition X264 video with a video bitrate around 4000kbs .. When I play it on my pc it skips , and the audio is out of synch .

Is there any I can do so my pc will play X264 video ?

Or will I need to get a new pc ?

Hey there latinsnake, try downloading new codecs:

http://www.free-code..._Codec_Pack.htm

Once downloaded, install them and let me know if it makes any difference.

Cool :whistling:

Thanks . I downloaded the Codec's . I will install them , and try it out tommorow .

It worked :whistling: Video plays great , and audio is in synch . I also did the pc tweaks for windows xp listed on here , that might have helped ?
