I have my second hp ze2315 for the same reason, the display is all garbled and unreadable. If I take my hand and squeeze the top left corner thumb on the screen bezel fingers on the cover and bend it toward me Rather hard I can see the display well, but it flickers if my hand isnt steady. Whats wrong??

Sounds like you may have a bad connection somewhere. Is the laptop still under warranty?
