I have a problem when opening certain applications i get an error message "error1706,no valid installation path can be found for this product ,try to find a valid copy of xxxx.msi"What does this mean and how can i correct it?
The applications willeventually open if i keep pressing cancel when prompted for a removable CD.

Would these certain applications be Microsoft applications such as Word?

No ,the programs in question are HP Image Zone 4.5Plus & Sonic MY DVD7.The problem occurred after uninstalling and then cosequently re installing at a later date
