How do I stop Windows XP from encrypting my music files? I have 15,000 music files and windows encrypted them so I can't copy them to another hard drive. I try to right click properties and click on advanced and the uncheck the encryption box but the system won't do anything. The files remain encrypted. I can play them but can't copy them to another hard drive. I can decryrpt them one folder at a time which will take forever.

Try posting your question in the appropriate Windows forum, as this one is about hardware issues :whistling:
