Using Windows 2000 currently and just installed it.

I am getting this wierd "Messenger Service" erros. GO TO the link below to view the image.

I am also getting a few errors very similar to this, such as telling me that there are 55 errors found in system so register cleanup is needed.

I also tried to download "Hijack This" so I can post a log so I can get help on the error listed above bust got an error. GO TO the link below to view the image.

I am very worried, I am not sure if my windows 2000 CD is currupted or some of the programs I install from the CD are. I would really appreciate if anyoen can help me.

Thank You

thanks but there's a problem. When i click 'Download Now'

I finishes the downloading to 100% in a second but still shows that some file is being copied. And the download dialog box doesn't close which means it is downloading something. This process never tend to end.

In other words, i am unable to download the file.

Please go here:

Malware Removal Guide

You will need a PC which can connect to the internet

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

For the purpose of accurate malware analysis, Hijack This Logs are only dealt with in the Malware Forum. Posting them anywhere else will result in a delayed response

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, please ask for advice in the Malware Forum
