My video on my wmp comes in as a mirror image ( lettering is backwardsand upside down), plus sound is distorted. My other player ( Divx) works fine. I has tried version 9, 10, and now 11 with no luck. Can someone please help me? Thanks

Try going to control panel, add/remove programs. On the left side, click on add/remove windows components, find windows media player and un-check it. After it has been removed, repeat the process, put a check on windows media player and re-install the component. I make no guarantee that this will fix it. I had a strange wmp problem once and exhausted all the fixes I could think of. A hp tech support person suggested this, I tried it and the problem went away. It is worth giving it a shot.
