Do i need Quicktime?

I dunno when or how but i noticed the quicktime icon my lower left screen, I'm not sure where it came from. What i would like to know is, do i need it and if not, can i delete it? Thanks, Cree

Use add / remove to uninstall it, you can download it here if you subsequently decide you want to use it
